On October 11th at 7:30pm, St Ann’s Church will host a gala concert of choral and organ music, in memory of our beloved former Director of Music, Ronald Frost. The concert marks 10 years since his death in 2015.
We will be joined by members of the Hallé Choir, as well as friends of Ronald and illustrious former organists and organ scholars: Philip Asher, Simon Passmore, Gary Hulme and Elin Rees.
The concert will be free to enter, with cash refreshments and a retiring collection in aid of the organ fund, raising money for repairs to the instrument which Ronnie expanded in 1996, the daily sound of which is a living legacy to him.
