The RNCM Jazz Collective

The RNCM Jazz Collective exists to introduce our younger students to playing in a large jazz ensemble. Most of the players tonight only began their studies at the RNCM this September. The ensemble has been in existence for over two decades and has made many successful appearances around the North West including a number of school projects and an acclaimed performance at the Bollington Festival.
The programme tonight will be a very mixed selection of big band classics; from an Ellington suite movement, through Buddy Rich and back to Glenn Miller
