Currently based in the city of Manchester – UK, Oliver is a dynamic freelance musician whose work spans a multitude of disciplines. Currently studying at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music, Oliver is studying composition under the tutelage of Professor Emily Howard – working towards completing his 2nd year of the Undergraduate Programme.
Having been involved with sacred music from a young age and being steadily present in his musical education, Oliver currently serves as the Organist and Director of the Consort Choir at the historic Church of The Holy Name on Oxford Road, combining traditional music with contemporary methods that are fundamentally essential to the survival of choral music – he hopes that music in the Catholic Church can hold the same hold importance as it has done in previous years, and for many more to come.
Outside of choral music and alongside his studies, Oliver works as a Musical Director – keys player and arranger for award winning function / event bands and touring theatre companies, which he aims to continue doing full-time alongside choral music after finishing study at the RNCM in 2026.
